Ce qui est déprimant n'est pas tellement que l'auteur de SF Charles Stross fasse des prédictions pessimistes pour les années 2030-2090, mais qu'elles soient souvent assez convaincantes et sans beaucoup de choses en compensation :
(1) déclin écologique,
(2) sociétés vieillissantes et globalement réactionnaires (malgré une préservation de la "libéralisation des moeurs").
